Our
Lord
and
Lady
of
the
Trinacrian
Rose
Church
has
a
long-standing
tradition
of
offering
commitment
ceremonies
to
both
heterosexual
and
gay
couples
seeking
to
establish
themselves
together
in
a
committed
relationship.
We
have
offered
legally
binding
marriages
to
the
heterosexual
community
in
a
variety
of
settings
ranging
from
churches
and
hotel
function
rooms,
to
garden
ceremonies
and
backyards.
With
the
Supreme
Court
decision
in
Massachusetts
that
ruled
same-gender
marriages
are
legal,
effective
May
18,
2004
we
are
pleased
to
be
able
to
offer
same-gender
legal
wedding
ceremonies.
Our
church
has
clergy
throughout
eastern
and
metro-west
Massachusetts
that
is
recognized
by
the
Commonwealth
of
Massachusetts
for
purposes
of
conducting
legal
marriage
ceremonies.
You

If
you
need
us
to
help
provide
a
church
facility,
please
contact
us
substantially
in
advance
(6
months
or
more
recommended)
of
planning
your
wedding.
A
year
(12
months)
is
not
an
unreasonable
amount
of
time
for
such
a
special
occasion.
Please
contact
us
at
least
8
weeks
in
advance
of
your
chosen
wedding
date
if
you
already
have
a
location
to
assure
someone
form
our
church
is
available.
Out-of-state
weddings
require
at
least
8
weeks
advance
notice
in
order
for
us
to
obtain
a
non-resident
clergy
license
for
the
event.
For
a
legal
wedding,
you
must
obtain
in
advance,
a
valid
marriage
license
from
your
city
/
town.
Our
clergy
will
retain
the
license
after
the
ceremony
and
make
the
appropriate
filing
with
the
town
clerk
where
the
ceremony
was
performed.
Non-binding
commitment
ceremonies
(handfastings)
are
available
as
well.
